Turnaround Times-Estimates-Payment-Policies
Turnaround times are only guesstimates . Chromatics have many different parts that need special attention. Unless you only ask for a particular service, such as replacing old wind savers, it’s difficult to evaluate what might need replaced or repaired until I come to that actual part on the harmonica. Not all problems with the harmonica can be found when giving an initial estimate on repairs. Also there are times of the year where more business then usual comes into the shop which can delay the actual time I can start work on your harmonica. I do all work on a first come first serve basis.

Purchases of new, vintage and reconditioned harmonicas and parts must be paid in advance.
Repair and Restoration work can be paid when the harmonica is ready to ship back to you.

Policies
It is expected that you will send the harmonica in clean condition. Any harmonica that requires more then basic cleaning prior to servicing will be be charged $15 extra. I reserve the right to refuse repair on any harmonica that may pose a health risk.

All estimates are free unless the harmonica needs sanitized before inspection. Then the above fee applies.
Return shipping is at your expense whether the harmonica is serviced or not.

I ask that you send no more then 1 chromatic at a time for repair during busy seasons. This way everyone that need a repair can have their harmonica back within a reasonable amount of time.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND HARMONICAS WITH OUT CONTACTING ME FIRST
I WILL NOT PAY RETURN SHIPPING ON HARMONICAS I CAN NOT FIX

   Custom Hohner Chromatic Harmonicas
At this time I no longer customize chromatics due to my busy schedule.
I will, however, occasionally offer custom built chromatics for sale when
I find the free time to build them.

All prices quoted are in US currency. While I try to keep consistent prices throughout the year, prices for parts and services may change without notice.
